A galley kitchen refresh in harmony with the nearby dining and laundry areas
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Challenge
Create a modern light filled galley kitchen that doesn't feel cut off from the dining area.
Solution
By removing the wing walls dividing the kitchen and dining, light streams in through the window and the rooms are connected. A visual trick of creating a larger cohesive space is achieved by taking the stylish sage backsplash through into the laundry.
I had no experience on how to even go about designing my kitchen and Maire helped me with this and arranged for all the trades persons to site the job and complete it for me from start till finish. It was very well organised on her behalf. I can't fault anything.
