Clever product selection and dramatic visual trickery produced a glamorous bathroom that exceeded this young couple's dreams
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Challenge
Transforming a tiny shower room into a modern glamorous bathroom with lots of storage, a separate shower and even space for a designer bath.
Solution
Every design decision for this room was made around space; with selecting products that either used it most effectively, or visually created it.
The client's dream for a bath was achieved with space from the adjoining wardrobe, and selecting a smaller sized designer slipper bath tucked in next to a stylish barn door.
The walls 'disappear' with black subway wall panels, an infinity corner mirror, niched heated towel rail and the selection of black wall-hung slimline bathroom furniture. Gunmetal tapware, LED lighting and new timber look flooring all create a bathroom with lovely flow that feels twice its size.
Dealing with Maire has been an positive and rewarding experience. She has been very thoughtful and inspiring. She actively listened to what we wanted and provided an awesome design to suit our limited space requirements.
She managed the project from design through to completion and has done a wonderful job despite the challenges covid had thrown her way. I would recommend Maire highly. Thank you so much!
